House Boat…

Your personal waterfront view

Andrew ran the production for one of Australia’s most respected houseboat builders Eagle catamarans for a friend and businessman here on the Gold Coast, in fact, his Fiberglass lamination shop is still located in that facility.

We build to Customer specification length, width, and accommodation within a 40 to 60-foot hull envelope. The hull design can handle a reasonable range of displacement, (the marine term for weight).  In effect, we use the system of production we refined over many years at Eagle, a system that we continue to evolve.

  • Unfinished Houseboat with a partially constructed hull on a trailer, surrounded by construction equipment and trees in the background.

  • Large catamaran yacht on land with clear sky background

Deeper hulls for coastal adventures the original owner is cruising and living on one of these and cruising up and down the Queensland coast. We don’t have a photo of an open-top version but think of the top glass area without glass and you get the idea.

  • Boat cockpit interior with steering wheel and navigation equipment, surrounded by large windows overlooking greenery.

The Helm station can be up on top or down on the main deck or both as is often the case.

  • Large white and brown houseboat on dry dock, with black railings and a partially enclosed upper deck, positioned near a metal building.

Because the helm is upstairs only the whole bottom deck is devoted to accommodation Kitchen living dining and cabins. The accommodation much like a house can be configured as the owner desires.
